Data Platform Architecture Consultation Project
As part of the Organizing for Business Analytics Platforms course, Akash and his team developed a cloud-based data platform solution for MeddGGenius, a healthcare provider facing challenges with outdated data infrastructure. The project proposed an Azure-based architecture to enable real-time and batch data integration, ensure HIPAA and NIST compliance, and support advanced analytics. Key features included predictive analytics, virtual health assistants, and real-time patient monitoring to improve patient care and operational efficiency. The solution aimed to modernize MeddGGenius's data ecosystem, enabling scalability, security, and data-driven decision-making.

Managing a Digital Product: ZenithZone
As a part of the Foundations of Digital Product Management course taught by Dr. Vasant Gondhalekar, I worked with a team of 6 other students to create a fictitious new digital product and come up with the product roadmap, the product and market strategies, the market types, and the business models projected ROIs. As such, my team and I took some inspiration from our first project’s focus on Airbnb to cater to the home/office space market with a potential new digital product. Thus, we came up with a fictitious home/office space curator company, ZenithZone. Our aim with ZenithZone was to transform how individuals and businesses interact with their home, office, and event environments.

Understanding Product Roadmaps & Market Types:
A Look Into Airbnb
As a part of the Foundations of Digital Product Management course taught by Dr. Vasant Gondhalekar, I worked with a team of 6 other students to select an existing digital product/service and research it to develop that company’s historical roadmap and discuss the market types that the company is involved in. As such, my team and I chose Airbnb as it is a versatile digital product and because of its long and successful history as a digital product.

The Goal of Quality Education: EnVision UTD Hackathon Project
As part of the EnVision UTD x Tableau VizCraft Data Visualization Hackathon, I focused on examining the correlation between indicators of quality education (UN SDG #4) with unemployment indicators (UN SDG #8) around the world. I created two choropleth maps to visualize the data and create a data story about my insight questions. After advancing to the next round after pre-finals judging, I presented my data story to a panel of judges from Salesforce and Tableau and declared the 2nd place winner of the hackathon.

COVID-19 Pandemic's Impact on Michigan's Restaurants & Bars
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, the aim of this project was to explore the ramifications of COVID-19 in Michigan, with a specific focus on the performance of the food & beverage industry. Through the creation of visualizations (through Tableau), my team and I sought to gain deeper insights into how the pandemic impacted Michigan's food & beverage businesses.

Improving Responsive Design & Security Consulting Project
As a part of my classes at UT Dallas, this project was a capstone project encompassing the principles and skills taught in the JSOM courses at UTD for undergraduate students. My teammates and I had to improve the security standards and the overall responsive design of Chainlink Research's website as they were due for a new rollout of their redesigned website.

Analyzing Pay Discrepancies of CEO Salaries & Worker Pay
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I worked with a group to analyze a dataset from Kaggle which contained data about the companies in the Russell 3000 Index and the companies' associated information on CEO salaries and average workers' pay/wages. My team and I constructed a Tableau Storyboard with 5 key insights that we presented to a group of industry-leaders in the Richardson, Texas area.

Search Engine Marketing Practices of Air France
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I worked with a group to analyze the overall performance of the search engine marketing strategies that Air France uses (based on data from several years ago from a case study). My team and I had to identify the best web publisher and best campaign out of the data provided and state any recommendations for Air France going forward.

Family Document Management System Design w/ SQL
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I worked with a group to design a database with schema, queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to emulate a family document management system. Furthermore, I was the one who designed the schema structures of all of the entities.

Examining the Causes of Attrition at IBM w/ R Programming
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I worked with a group to analyze the causes of attrition at IBM based on a dataset we found on Kaggle. From that dataset, we used R programming to create visualizations and build a classifier model.

District 50 Toastmasters Youth Leadership Summit 2023
As the Master Contest Chair of District 50 Gavel Clubs' Youth Leadership Summit 2023, I had to put together various contests during this massive event. In this Youth Leadership Summit, Gavel Club members (kids from 1st through 12th grade) competed in Inspirational Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topics speech contests at the various levels (Elementary (1st-5th grade), Junior (6th-8th grade), and Senior (9th-12th grade)).

University Toastmasters of Dallas: Fall 2022 Open House
This project resulted from my role as the Club President for the University Toastmasters of Dallas. My duties were to put together a script that the officers used to give the guests a clear and comprehensive structure of how a Toastmasters meeting is structured. Furthermore, I had to put together a briefing in which I had to make sure everyone who signed up as a role-holder for the event that they understood their role, especially if the role-holder was a new member of the club.

Data Analysis with MySQL
As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I led a group of four people to examine hotel review data from Booking.com for New York City, Los Angeles, and Orlando and use MySQL queries to figure out ways to help Booking.com retain more customers and retain higher profits for the company's future.

As a part of one of my classes at UT Dallas, I had to examine a given dataset and create several data visualizations using Tableau. Furthermore, I had to compile my data visualizations into a Tableau Data Story and share my findings based on those visualizations.

As a part of my role as a Consulting Officer for TechPact UTD, I was entrusted by then Club President, Sagar Hagawane, to develop and execute a web development competition for our fellow Tech Pact members so that they could compete, win prizes, and present their work to our client, Highland Park ISD.

Before I became a member of TechPact, I had to compete in their Marketing Case Competition. For TechPact's Marketing Case Competition, all participating teams had to develop a marketing plan for PegStove after receiving details of the problem statement to get PegStove to the crowdfunding stage in the entrepreneurship journey. My presentation focused on creating a crowdfunding plan & marketing plan.

Google Project Management Capstone
This project was for the last of the 6-course certification for the Google Project Management Professional Certificate. I was guided through a real-world scenario and I acted as the Project Manager in that scenario. I had to complete various documents (such as the Project Charter, Project Plan, and much more) as a part of my project. The document linked to a Closeout Report that I had to complete (it was a part of a template) as one of the final documents I had to complete to get certified in Project Management from Google & Coursera.

As a part of the Frisco Independent School District's Independent Study & Mentorship (ISM) Program, I worked with a mentor from The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management, Professor Gaurav Shekhar. For my Final Product, I wanted to gain vital knowledge and develop new skills pertaining to data visualization - a key aspect of project management. So, In order to expand my knowledge and acquire new skills in data visualization, I had an opportunity to utilize a very beneficial resource - Tableau. Based on guidance from my mentor, I took the initiative to create seven different visualizations based on a chosen dataset to discover the many tips, tricks, and skills that data visualization requires to enhance the world of business.

Advancements in MIS: Making Projects Work
As a part of the Frisco Independent School District's Independent Study & Mentorship (ISM) Program, I worked with a mentor from The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management, Professor Gaurav Shekhar. For my Original Work, I wanted to gain vital knowledge and develop new skills pertaining to a project manager. So, In order to expand my knowledge and acquire new skills in project management, I had a unique opportunity to utilize a very beneficial resource from Simulated Powered Learning known as SimProject. SimProject allows people like myself to take on the role of a project manager and get a simulated experience of the day-to-day operations that project managers undertake. I personally took the initiative to complete three iterations of the simulated project to discover the many tips, tricks, and skills that a project manager must have to be successful.
